BabyProductExperts.com is an association made up of hundreds of infant and teen furniture and accessory specialty stores throughout the United States. Our stores sell and provide expert advice on thousands of products for parents, infants and children. Juvenile specialty stores on our site are normally locally owned and provide additional services often not available at nationally owned chains.
Store Qualification
This site was developed by the ABC show to promote and support the Independent Specialty Stores of the Juvenile Industry.
Our stores provide outstanding service and quality products at a competitive price. In order to be considered for membership your store must fit into one of these 5 categories.
Full Line Baby Store
Generally these stores carry furniture, bedding, mattresses, baby gear, gifts and accessories. In addition they generally offer a number of other services (layaway, financing, gift wrapping, etc).
Boutique Store
These stores are typically smaller in size and might not carry all the different categories of products and services of a full-line store.
Furniture Only Store
These stores typically carry only furniture mattresses and decor.
Baby Gear Store
These stores specialize in baby gear and accessories
Certification Process
There is an Exclusive Certification Process where your store will be mystery shopped by an independent Retail Evaluation service familiar with our industry.
- This evaluation process will certify you as a Baby Product Expert store.
- This process will also provide you with important third party incites to areas where your store could benefit from additional training to better serve your customers and help you to compete better in your market place.
For your store to be listed as a Certified Store on BabyProductExperts.com, your store will be mystery shopped and evaluated by an independent Retail Evaluation Service familiar with the juvenile industry. Only stores with a passing score of 70% or better have the opportunity to be listed on our site.
Each store will be graded on the following categories: Telephone Etiquette, Store Appearance, Associate Greeting, Product Knowledge and Customer Service. The evaluations are used not only to certify your store but also to improve your stores future performance.
Detailed Store Information
Each store listed on our site will also provide detail store information regarding its showroom size, major brands carried, and the various services offered. This information is very useful and will allow a customer to learn more about your store before leaving home.

- Consumers are directed to your store from the Baby Center site. You will provide important information about your store. Such as: Logo, Store Hours, Link to your website, Major brands you carry, Services you offer, Google Map to your store location, You can upload store images and store video if available.
Consumer Reviews
We encourage consumers to review any store listed on this site after their store visit. These reviews will provide you with constructive feedback so that you can continually try to improve your customer service and performance.
Marketing and Advertising
The ABC show will be sponsoring all of the marketing and advertising to drive Moms from the Baby Center site to your store. 78% of all US new and pregnant Moms visit their site. Make sure these Moms are visiting your store.
